Build A Floating Bed Frame Drawer
Floating bed frame – Floating drawer bed frames add a touch of style to the room. They provide additional storage space for bedding, clothing or other items of bedroom under the bed itself. Due to a bed drawer uses the space under the mattress for storage, the number of cabinets required is reduced in the room. This makes a bed frame with drawers’ ideal for small rooms where space is limited storage option.
Build a floating bed frame drawer, cut two pieces of 2 by 4 67 inches long with the circular saw. Attach the screwdriver bit to the hammer drill. Screw another piece of 17 inches to the other end of the piece 67 inches, using a L-bracket fixed to the sides 2 inches wide.

Screw piece 71 – inch 2-by-4 through the center of the bed frame 35 inches between parts 2-for-4, using an L bracket on each side of each joint. Cut four sheets of plywood 1/2-inch thick, 16 inches long by 8 inches wide with the circular saw. Screw a 16 by 8 inches on each side of sheet 16 centimeters in length of sheets 25 by 16 inches to form two forms “U”.
Screw each “U” at the bottom of the bed using L – brackets so the “U” is flush with the outer edge of one of the 75 inch long pieces of 2 by 4 and the lip 2 inches above the “U” is connected with the bottom of one of the base sheets mattress.
Cut four sheets of plywood 1/2-inch thick 14 1/2 inches long by 7 meters wide. Screw one piece 14 1/2 by 7 inches to the end of a piece of 24 by 7 inches to form an L shape 7 inches wide. Screw “L” shaped pieces in each drawer together to reinforce the drawer sides. Slide the drawers in the frames of caissons to complete the floating bed frame drawer.
